Peer Supervision Group
Last Thursday of the Month @ 7:30pm
Did you know that peer supervision groups can help reduce private practice isolation & help protect against therapist burnout?

The Peer Supervision Group hosted by Connect to Calm is a virtual, low-cost, monthly, 90-minute group for clinicians of all types (psychotherapists, social workers, counsellors). Although we are focused on supporting individuals in private practice, we welcome therapists of all levels of experience & from all areas of practice.
General topics we might cover include:
- Sharing news about training opportunities for therapists.
- Sharing information about the models we use (e.g., EFT, ACT, DBT).
- Sharing new resources for client care (e.g. handouts, worksheets, books, etc.).
- Consulting on general topics & questions related to clinical practice (e.g., what format do you use for case notes?).
- Consulting on practice topics, especially those related to private practice (e.g., how do you schedule your week?)
- Case consultations
Participating therapists are asked to sign a confidentiality waiver to ensure that everything shared remains in the group. Clinicians use only anonymized client data for Case consults. Prior to joining, you will be asked to attend a screening to determine if the group would be a good fit for you (and vice versa).
This group meets the requirements for the definition of a “structured peer supervision group“ according to the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
Please get in touch if you are interested in joining!
